Ambassadors fly before dawn to Los Angeles

It was crazy crowded at the Delta terminal at 4:00 am this morning but our Tuxtla Ambassadors got through it and were on their way.

I think it was too early for any group pictures at the airport but here are a few from during the week ...

This day was unscheduled so that hosts and ambassadors could do what they want.  One group went to San Francisco for sightseeing, one group went to Folsom to see the big dam, the prison and the old historic town (and to try In-n-Out Burgers).

Morning Activites

Most of the day was available for Ambassadors and Hosts to do what they want. Here are a few highlights...

Farewell Party

The farewell party for the Tuxtla Gutiérrez - Sacramento Journey was a chance for all of us to meet together one last time (at least for THIS journey! - we hope we will meet again).  The party was held at Monika's house, with a spacious back yard and the American River Parkway forest immediately behind.
